LocalScout ("we", "us") operates localscout.online and its free tools. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: when you sign up for LocalScout, we collect your email address via our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Business leads you search or save: business names, phone numbers, addresses, and ratings you find or save while using LocalScout are stored in your account.
• Free tool inputs: URLs you submit to the Website Audit Checker, and details you type into the Pitch Writer, ROI Calculator, or Proposal Builder. These are processed to generate your result and are not linked to your identity unless you're signed in.
• Usage data: standard web analytics (pages visited, general location by IP, browser type) to understand how the site is used.
• Cookies: used for login sessions and, where enabled, by advertising partners (see "Advertising" below).

How we use information

• To provide the LocalScout service — search results, saved leads, and account features.
• To operate the free tools and return your results.
• To improve the product and understand which features are useful.
• To communicate with you about your account, when necessary.

Advertising

Pages on this site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices: Supabase (authentication and data storage), Google (Places data, AdSense, Analytics), Razorpay (payment processing for paid plans), and WhatsApp (for message links you choose to open).

Account and lead data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual leads or your entire account at any time from within the app.
